Subject: Cloth room

  1. Load figure into scene.

  2. Turn off IK for all bodyparts.

  3. Zero the figure's pose with the joint edit palette.

  4. Go to the animation palette and reduce the keyframes from 30 down to 5 or so.

  5. Go to key frame 5 and apply the pose you want your figure to be in.

  6. Go back to key frame 1 (zero pose) and load the clothing from the props library. It should fit the figure without any skin poking through then parent it to the "hip".

  7. Select the clothing prop and go into the cloth room.

  8. Click "New Simulation", set start frame to 1 and end frame to 5 and "OK".

  9. Next click "Clothify" and choose the clothing prop from the list and "OK".

  10. Next click "Collide" against and choose the figure and "OK".

  11. Next Click "Calculate simulation".

After the calculations are done the clothing should be fitted to the posed figure in frame 5.
