heyas; the trick is, you can't select a subset AND have the props remember their parents, both at the same time. when you reload the box set, they won't be parented to #1. if you export them all as an obj and import it, it's all one obj. you can't deselect part of an obj. you could use the grouping tool and spawn props from the groups, but then you'd end up back where you started, with boxes #1-7. :)
