I used to run a summer art school out here on the decadent East Coast and we paid new models $15, good, experienced models $20. They were damn near all gorgeous, mostly college girls trying to pick up a little summer cash. No shortage of them, either--we had about ten regulars, another fifteen or so occasionals, and we turned dozens away every summer. It's hard work modelling for a life-drawing class; ever tried to hold a pose for 10 or 20 minutes? My lawyer doesn't even get $300 bucks an hour.
