The other option is to actually create a bezier curve for the motion. Here's how: In the timeline, double click the segment between key-frame markers. That'll open a "transition options" dialogue box in which you can select bezier, discrete, linear or oscillate. Select bezier and then adjust slider controls for tighten in / tighten out. That control is effectively the same as twiddling with bezier curve handles on a vector drawing program.
