I went to the San Francisco Opera last weekend, and a couple of weeks before that. Excellent productions. Throughout, I was thinking "great lighting ... I've got to try that in Poser," or "great sets ... look like they were done by MnD productions, maybe CastleDev." Fortunately I wasn't thinking about Mimic. But I did notice the nice bump maps, textures, and discreet use of reflection maps in the opera house. Once I went to a 12-step meeting for addicts of "The Sims." That was a couple of years ago when I actually thought that program was pretty cool. I was able to beat that demon, but I only replaced it with another addiction. You know its name.
