I was reading John Bellaris (The face in the frost) before this upstart Harry Potter ever showed up. I could type till the sun went down and not scratch the surface. I probably won't copy a book cover per se. But I would like to be able to get that Parrish or Hildebrandt blue-sky and golden-sunset in my work. I see what I want in my mind's eye. It's making the tools do what I see that hangs me up.
