I had the same problem with the 57 chevy except it would make a blue screen error when rendering in a new window......win98se....went to xp and that corrected everything I think it has something to do with 98 and ME because I Have a 1.3 Athlon with 512 megs ddr and a gforce card which are all newer components xp is the only thing I changed on my system to overcome this problem.
