K-Mart and WalMart specials for Mike and Vicki. I recently did a gritty home scene and couldn't put a dress on Vicky or an apron. If I wanted to do something about the 30's I could do Mike, cause his clunky suits look awful enough, and there are even a couple of fedoras out there, but I would be stuck for Vicki not to mention Steph. I would have one thing-- Rena's textures for Jim Burton's sweater and skirt. If they are even still available. Down home clothing that is detailed, dirty, a morphable "real" apron for Vicki that she could wipe her hands with-- or even clutch. A work jacket for Mike, that could morph to cowboy, rancher, butcher, etc, would be great. A tshirt that is LOOSE-- for everybody. One thinks that non-glamorous clothing wouldn't sell-but it would if it were done extra well, with beautiful seaming and details, like a ragged hem, wrinkles, etc. Look at Gorodins's very simple sci-fi suits-- they didn't sell because they were glamerous. They sold because they were incrediably wellmade. The seams made you weep.;-)more or less. Anything at all for the Mil boys-- who now have some wonderful textures but absolutely nothing to wear but KMart-- and no parents to go with them! Fantasy and fairy stuff for the Mil boy would be great-- I'm at a loss to put anything on him but bikini bottoms!!! A Huck Finn set, overalls, straw hat, ragged shirt et al. Then Beggar clothing that could go multi period, Long skirts and tunics for the MIl girls-- that's all it would take to get them in almost any period with the many Vicki bodysuits out there. I love Catherine Todd's over dress and it's alternate textures at Daz-- give me something like that for the Mil girls and boys. Put breast morphs in if you feel you have to-- but leave the flat chest there too! Oh, and period babies! On the Aldara project we had No idea how to deal with an infant in trouble-- put him in a bunny suit??? Speaking of that-- anyone ever done anything for nativity scenes?? Three Kings?? Emily oh, Lyrra, you had to ask.
