well, I'll have a webserver up and running with a couple of gigs of space in a couple of hours. then set up the ftp server... though I would rather use ssh. I have tested this machine as server and it is reasonably fast. for files under 5 megs I can quickly set up basic html linked pages. but no hotlinking, that leaves the machine open to what happened to penguinisto.
