Hi Strangely enough I drove one of these last weekend. I drive a Lotus 7 in my wilder moments and my associate has an XKE-type in a garage that he lets out on the weekends to terrify the other users of the A4 in Wiltshire. My impressions of the E-Type (to paraphrase Ford Prefect in the HitchHiker Guide to the Galaxy) "looks like a fish, drives like a cow" .. Really as long as you are going in a straight line you are OK as soon as you turn a corner -oh dear! Lovely model by the way, Dudley you're going from strength to strength ..
