That looks REALLY good :) I have several scripts for Max that will do this sort of thing, putting lights on a hemisphere and takign the color/intensity from the texture ont he same hemisphere... basically it approximates liek you are doing. There is theoretically no reasont hat a Poser python script couldn't do the same.
