Corel has a habit of lowering the price of items, not raising it. It's likely Painter will end up wrapped up with KPT in a $78 bundle at your local Costco or something... With a Linux version on the way in a year or two. I don't think they do Mac software though that I know of. If so this may or may not change that. I see no mention of Adobe getting Carrara on metacreation's site. Got a URL for that one and maybe enough of a quite that I can scan for it?
