I've used PhotoSpray. It works well if you want to create an all over pattern. It doesn't work as well if you want to put your spray in specific places on a new layer. The problem is that it's a filter which effectively takes the layer selection you're working on into a new "space" and you can't see the other layers of your image. - Ken Heronheart -
