Someone forwarded me an e-mail from the author of the original code, Eric Wenger I think. I can't find it so I hope this is right. He says he never sold anything but publishing rights for Bryce to Metacreations. The source code remains his and he promises new versions when he is done with his current project. I don't know anything about Corel myself. I've heard both good and bad things about them. As a Bryce enthusiast, any action with the program is good news to me.
