As far as I could tell, Corel 3D was RDS. They gave up after Corel 8. The one thing that worries me is that Corel is not in the best shape. Their programs are "also rans": Word Perfect has slipped badly behind Word, Corel Draw is a lesser Adobe Adobe Illustrator, etc. I hope they do well with it, but they weren't my first choice.
