Just moved mine from one drive to another using an XP OS via the windows explorer and had absolutely no regedit needed - but your desktop and programs listing (assuming windows since you have p5) shortcuts will have to be changed. Just right click on link then left click on properties and change from c: to d: and save. All textures, figures, mover, cr2edit, etc. works.
