The last one I remember was 60387, so I probably missed some... :-) OK, I guess you are on PC and your friend is Mac? There are two things to look for: 1) If the .cr2 doesn't show, it is probably just not correctly typed. The easiest way to do so will be to use Maconverter. 2) The PC thumbnail sits in the .rsr file (the one that is in your .cr2 library folder, not the one in your Geometries). In order to get this as well you must send it with the .cr2, and your friend must drag all of the files onto Maconverter.
