I think this is sort of it. This render shows off a series of morphs I made for Dark Whisper's "California Hair". The resulting product is zig-zaggy at close-up rather than curvy curls, but as this render shows, the further back you go the curlier it renders. I too have been after this kind of hair for a very long time indeed, and I have a feeling this is as good as it's going to get without getting into crazy polygon counts. I contacted Dark Whisper about distributing the morphs as a CR2 but have not heard back, this was about two weeks ago. Perhaps if more people email him, he will be inspired to respond? -WTB
