Yes, you can multireplicate along a path, I used it with metaballs to form a branch, you can offset them by a numeric value to space them along the path, but for the life of me I couldn't explain how, I read it in Realworld Bryce and followed the instructions, there's a post here somewhere on metaballs that explains how to do it...
