To save it as a jpg... First, render the image. If you render the image in the main window, then, once it is rendered completely, click file -> export -> image ... A dialog box will pop up. Towards the bottom there will be a part that says "Save As Type..." and a drop down where you can select what you want to save it as. If you render in a new window... just go to file -> save as ... You'll get a very similar dialog box to the one I mentioned first - with the "Save As Type..." selection menu. Once you get that, all you have to do is a pick a name for it, and where you want it saved. Hope that helps.
