Man, youre insane! ;) Just the thought alone, to create an entire image with spheres, would make me want to go and hide somewhere! The best freakin boolean model to this date! All cathegories!!! It would terminate all competition! :) Im truly sorry for the lost files! I would love to see this entry, but i hope well see it posted next year!

These models are excactly what I hoped for :) You've taken bryce to the limit and pushed it miles further. I'm looking forward to the finished image. You should render it at a massive resolution, so you can hang in on the wall. And I mean the whole wall, because there's just so much detail. I don't know if you're already doing it, but I'd suggest to save different models in different scene-files and then merge them for the final render. That could maybe enable you to load them without your computer crashing. What hardware do you use? I'm sorry for the lost files. Now I know why I heard that loud NOOOO!!! scream that broke all the glass objects in the house :P Respect to you. I would have smashed my keyboard through my monitor if I lost scenes as complex as yours.

I'm sure everyone would agree with me, that they would also want it in the Challenge, at least for posterities sake. Great, great, great, great work, man. AgentSmith

Humorix, do you have any idea how long it took me to find my eyes and put them back in my head after seeing your 'WIP'? :) I think you may have to hack into a supercomputer to save and render this scene properly. Heck of a job, I think we will all cheerfully bow to your creativity and expertese. Lin
If you ever need renderpower or a faster system than yours for the final render you can send me the files and I'll take 2 weeks to render it if neccesary. My system is an 1800+ AthlonXP with 512 MB of RAM and a dual 61,4GB stripe RAID. It never let me down with any scene. And believe me it's had very complex ones :)

Humorix - I'm a jaded old-school Brycer and this model has me speechless. This definitely sets a new bar for primitive/boolean modeling in Bryce. There hasn't been something so over the top like this in a long time. Reminds me of when the Bryce community got shocked by Ting and Robert's Big Rig - the truck model of terrains in Bryce 1. Back then there was no such thing as sym-latt but they did it anyway. I bet you linked the spheres and made it poseable too! Congrats and good luck in the contest. Render on! Scott - aka Tuckersaur.

Had embarked on an ambitious endeavour to create a complete fantasy image made of spheres (or at least 98% of it). Couldnt render it on my machine as it just wouldnt take the load (It took me 98 mins to save the Dragon I created after making some minor changes!). Took it to a friends machine for render and the machine crashed!!! As I was working on his machine (for the past 48 hours) I lost my files!!! :-( These things happen I guess! So theres no way Ill be able to enter this challenge (itll take me up to Tuesday to redo the image! The castle has to rebuilt from scratch, not to mention another centaur and the princess dress to be created!) I do intend to post the image later in the forum! All I have to show for now is some images of my work in progress! I wish all the challengers the very best. This challenge definitely pushed both hardware and me to new limits!! Guess the images will be up for vote today so I withdraw from the challenge! Therell be a new challenge to take up next year! Look forward to voting!
