'Conn' a ship means to pilot it, basically. It's from a mid-late 21st century slang abbreviation for 'console', and means 'take the console'. It should come into common use in about sixty years, but will be part of starpilot jargon in the next forty, soon after th development of jumpdrives. Coronations Catholic?
