I would not bother emailing..This is the reply I got from a person at the group.....I wrote a very nice letter to this same group before I saw this post explaining that they must seek artists permission to display or pass around art work...I was called a greedy slimy art agent (I dont charge my artists for any promotion I do do by the way..) Just thought u might like to see the reaction..he claims they give promotion to all you artists but there is no real link to the actuall artist unless u recogise their artwork like LisaB ****************** hi Im responding to your email about the art community I am an artist and I know first habds slimey "AGENTS" l;ike you are the reason for the decline in the art community.......these poeople make no money off of the Art club they are in they do it to give free promotion to any of the art community I have a friend in washington Im going to speak to about this (being ex military intelligence has its benifits) I dont appreciate you going around to art groups and telling them what to do unless the pictures specifically say they are not to be saved and redistributed on the web seeing most of them are found off the web then without a copyright niotice....youre aguements void and being I look at many art sites on the web and Id have to say 75% of them do not have that notice.....and last time I checked copyright infringements can only be declared unless the said party is making some kind of profit from the infringement free distribution last time I checked was not making money so I suggest before you go poking your nosae around in other peoples business you get your facts strait and stop being an internet nazi...... thats just my opinion I could be wrong
