Thread: Beta testers needed - M3 character (Big images) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey Conniekat, thx for the advice !! I'll try it right now ^^
I could not see well inside also because I use version 2.1 and sometimes, when I select points, the entire model becomes invisible, no matter what options I use ^^ I didn't manage to use the script that fixes obj morphs made in Hex 2.2 in Poser.
Btw, the images were removed because I shouldn't have included promo-like images in a beta testers thread. Sorry
NEEDED TESTERS UPDATE
Needed now :
-one person who has a MAC
-one person who can fix the morph

****** NEEDED TESTERS UPDATE********
Thx for your answers, ya all !
I replied to you by PM.
I have my testers for Poser 6 and 7 and Carrara ^^.
Now I need only 1 tester who has P4, PP (not sure if it's possible to have both hehe) and a MAC.
AND I absolutely need to find someone who can fix his morph !
Thx !
Bala

Thread: Question to C6 Pro users about morphs | Forum: Carrara
Hi, thx for your help :)
My original question is if it is possible to make simple or full body custom morphs (only geometry, not a rigged figure etc, and export in .obj format, like I do in Hex 2), in order to create regular morph inject files (in Poser) and redistribute to Poser/Studio users...
Like grichter said, I'm a content creator who wants to use Carrara in her workflow ^^ Not only a user who wants to use her own character in Carrara only.
I haven't had any replies from the Daz forum yet.

Thread: Question to C6 Pro users about morphs | Forum: Carrara
Thx for your answer, it's illuminating ^^ I hadn't seen the threads you speak of.
To think that it cannot export as an obj for a morph target, it's incredible. (0.o')

Thread: Some Advice Please | Forum: Carrara
I'm sure they will have a good price reduction on C6 standard when it comes out. It should be a lot cheaper than the sale price for the Pro version.
However, if you use the displacement brush in Hex, and the symmetrical modelling (lol), you won't find the same things in C6 Standard, it's only in the Pro version :/

Thread: Head/neck seam in Daz | Forum: DAZ|Studio
No, no it does the same with all the textures I own, to some extent.
This one on the pic is the MR03 by MaskEdit.

Hehe if it's about changing the map size, then it's about the difference in the map sizes :P
Thank you, I'll look for this thread too !

Thread: Problem with lights | Forum: Carrara
Thanks for the precise Photoshop fix !! I'm sure it will often come in handy :)
About the second picture, I was talking about the robe, the highlights/shadows are not smooth... Maybe I should make an image map with some texture to fix this... I have tried a noisy bump map but it's not enough. ^^

Thread: Problem with lights | Forum: Carrara
Thx Mark, I'll try your tips :) !!
Yes, it's for printing. I have rendered it at 4000x3000 and it's the same.
I remember having gradient problems in Photoshop itself, you're right, I shouldn't be expecting a smooth gradient here ^^ The problem is, the difference between the grays makes it impossible to remove with my friend the Gaussian blur :P I'll try more filters, like you said.
Thx again,
Bala

I also have a shader/shadow problem :
Does anyone know what can cause this unsmooth shading in the black area ?
There are several lights, only one casting shadows, the black shader is black color+some shininess/glossiness.
Thx !
