The items are listed as 'PC Only' because they haven't been tested on a Mac.
I expect they should work, perhaps after having been converted (there is an utility for that somewhere, I think).
They are indeed delivered as standard zip archives.

Poser can read 3DS files and they should be correctly textured (as long as they have received an uvmap in max).
You could also use the MaxtoObj plugin to generate an OBJ file.

Thread: Child Nudity: How OLD is Aiko 3? (Controversial) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Difficult question with lots of different (valid) opinions. This issue pops up regularly.
Aiko is considered an 'adult' figure here (from a merchant perspective, you can have promotional pictures showing her nude for texture products, while it's not allowed for other figures (for example the Young Teens or Preschooler figures, for obvious reasons)).
I personnally wouldn't mind seeing Aiko nude in any form (I don't associate the figure to a real person). Others would mind. Both opinions are valid, I think, and depends on the interpretation of the picture by each individuals. You can't please everyone.
If there is a picture that hurts some tastes, I believe we should trust the site's moderators to review the issue and act sensibly on a case by case basis if there are complaints. Likewise, people posting pรฎctures should (hopefully) act responsibly and not post something that is obviously 'disturbing' (at least not without a proper warning).
Just my 2 cents on this. I'm it's not really helpfull, though.

You could try Nightsong's Fantastic Colors!. While it is not directly designed for A3's Ponytail, there are freebie poses to use the textures with it (and other hair items).Thread: Stuff for Koji? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

It was indeed in the Christmas freebie and I hadn't posted it anywhere else yet (I've been working on it to make it posable but am now working on another project).
Nice to know this kind of thing has its uses.

Thread: Poser VS Max scale's make me crazyyy !?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The scaling factor in Poser is always a problem, but it can be fixed with a few steps. The following assumes you're using the max2obj/obj2max plugins and is the method I use: When importing a Poser OBJ in Max, use a vertex scale of 100. I usually import a Mike figure in the scene and build my own items to his scale. When exporting, use a vertex scale of 1. Once imported in Poser, scale the item down by a factor of 100 (in effect, set scale of the main figure to 1) then export the OBJ from Poser and import it back in. The item will have then the correct scale. There may be a simpler way of doing it but this one works well enought for me.
Thread: Terai Yuki 2-Any Good Texture Sets? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm planning to do some (working on one at the moment), but they won't be available for a while. There is indeed one set in the marketplace here. Fairly realistic look.
Thread: To prop or not to prop... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Scaling an item (prop or figure)to 0% makes little sense (the item is still in your scene and is still using memory). If something isn't of use, just remove it (either through the menus or by hitting the Delete key). The difference between props and figure is that props are not posable (ie. there are no moving parts). If your item doesn't need to have moving parts, its best to make it a prop. Also, Props can be be made to link automatically yo a set position on a figure (smart props). Figures have to be made to conform to react in the same way (and parenting and conforming isn't the same thing either).

I have some Poser Skis available in my freestuff on my site, if you're interested (they're at the bottom of the download page).Thread: Is it just me, or does DAZ not reply to customer questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The Millenium Unicorn requires that the 'Millenium Horse Bundle' product be installed (the foal isn't in the 'Millenium Horse' product) (ie. it isn't stand alone).
It can take a few days for DAZ to send back an answer, but they usually do
