Sorry for the delay in replying Tara. I did as you suggested but it means I have to add the information each time I send a letter. I think I will have to speak to someone who uses Outlook as their mail programme so I can embed it. Thankyou very much for your advice - much appreciated.

Hope - I do not know how to make it clearer. My outward emails used to have a link to my gallery at Rendo. My friends say the link no longer works - when they click on it they are told that work is being done on the Site, so when I asked for help from the Forum I was told that the link I had did not work any more and was given a new link. I have tried to put this in my email settings in Outlook but although it is there - clicking on it does not do anything. Sorry - my knowledge is very basic. I can write a letter and I can do fractals and use graphics programmes. I don't even know how I got here. As I said it does not really matter...it was just handy.I have managed to muddle through most things for three quarters of a century so I'm not going to get in a lather. I am going to have my tea - fish and chips and a cup of tea. Thankyou Hope. I think I'm a lost cause:-)

Thankyou all very much for your help. If you know me you will also know that I have not got a clue about computers, email settings or anything. I seem to have got into a big pickle. I wish I had left it alone for now I thought I had changed it but I cannot click on the link to take me straight through to my gallery. I have to copy and paste....... is this how it is to be?.

Thanks very much Len. Like Sue - I also thought it was a health issue, because you have been the mainstay and one of the strongest posters for such a long time.
After several blips I managed to upload an image this a.m. Sadly - I am one of those people who have problems creating thumbs, and when it tells you off it takes most of what you have put on - off. I hope it's going to get better for I keep getting lost. heh heh or getting blank looks.
I have always been a member of DA but was and am still unable to get to grips with the set up there. Obviously I'd rather stay here if things can get sorted. I wonder what bright spark decided to make a hash of what was working nicely. I do not have any of these exotic titchy little hand held thingies, just a plain desktop computer but at least I can see detail on the large screen. Now - let's see if I can find the Community Forum...and hello Sue -p hope you are keeping fine:-)

The great thing about the galleries was that with a click you could have a proper look at a fractal - without that facility I always thought the full beauty would be lost. They are meant to be viewed really large. I have noticed in the past that not everyone took advantage of this which was a great pity. If you can't see everything what is the point of commenting?
On a really sad note I discovered that Corrie has died, and I didn't know. She was a lovely lady, very kind and sincere and put herself out for everyone. My own fault really - I have not been active enough on Rendo for some time now - other things have got in the way. I take too much on.

I don't know where I am any more here. I have not yet even tried to access my fractal gallery and I probably won't now- I've been posting here since 2003 so my many thousands of fractals are up the creek. I am so upset
All I wanted to do was submit a photo. The way the submit page is set out is strange and is asking for thumbnails too. Fractals Gallery used to automatically make them.
Just read Len's letter and am in total agreement with him. What is with all this nasty black? Why have you blown apart something that was working beautifully? Is for all those people who cannot move an inch without that piece of metal and plastic with the miniscule keyboard and miniscule screen?

Rendo is finished for me too. It has just taken me absolutely ages to even find your letter.
If you do reply, could you please give me a direct link to your reply so I don't have to go all around the houses to find you?

For the last half an hour I have attempted to upload a photograph - yes - I know this is fractalland - but I don't know anyone in Photography to ask. What has happened to the site? Its all in black and I can't find my way around any more. It is a strange looking upload page and wants me to do a thumbnail in pxs whatever that is. Help please someone?
