Thread: Help! Can't Add a Library | Forum: New Poser Users Help
As you create more content for Poser, you may want to organize it in a way that makes sense to you so you can find it more easily. You may decide to install content manually. And sometimes, freestuff or things downloaded from other sites aren't set up in a proper runtime, so the installers won't work. This is a sample of one of my runtimes. The top folder can be called anything you want. The rest of the file structure needs to be set up as shown.
This will need to be set up outside of Poser using Explorer or Mac's equivalent. You can then use these buttons to add or remove a library
Sometimes, you may find content that is set up like this
Runtime/Pauline/Library
This won't work in Poser. The Library, textures, and geometry folders need to be in the runtime folder, and you'll need to move them manually into it.
Sometimes, you'll find content, usually older things, that aren't in any kind of runtime. These will have to be manually sorted.
OJB files go into the geometry folder.
cm2 files go into the camera folder
cr2 files go into the figures folder
fc2 files go into the face folder
hr2 files go into the hair folder
hd2 files go into the hand folder
lt2 files go into the light folder
Mt5, Mc6, and Mlc files go into the materials folder
Pz2 files go into the pose folder
pp2 files into the props folder
pz3 files go into the scene folder
each of these should have a corresponding thumbnail that is a PNG with the same name and should go into the same folder with it.
Texture files should go into the texture folder

The easiest way to install things from the marketplace here is to use the installer on the purchases tab of your library pallet.
This will install your purchases into a runtime called Purchases. You can also use this to install the content that is included with the purchase of a Poser. Those will go into a runtime called included.
Freestuff or things you get from other sites can be installed using the file>install from zip archive. The default runtime is downloads for this.
Once you've installed the files, you'll want to refresh the library so everything shows up properly by clicking on one of these circles.
1 will refresh the whole library and may take a little time, depending on how much content you have and the speed of your computer. This is better if you've installed a lot of content at once.
2 will refresh that particular folder only. In my example, it will refresh only the Included Characters folder. This is good if you are only installing a little.
There is also the option to install things manually. I'll discuss this in a second post.

If I understand what you want, you can change the UV scale and offset by changing these values.
You can plug the image map into whatever place you'd put an image on, either Superfly or Firefly nodes. You can also rotate the image 90 degrees by changing the texture coordinates from UV to VU

Is this a render or a preview? If it's a render, which render engine are you using?

Content Advisory! This message contains nudity
It's not that specific outfit or even that figure. That was just the one I was working with when I found the problem.
Here are Pauline, Miki 4, La Femme 2, Roxie, Vicky 4, La Femme, and Dawn (1) all showing the same problem. With each example, I tried to use something that came with the figure or at least something professionally made. I don't know what, if any, clothing came with Vicky, so I used the morphing fantasy dress.
And this only happens if I have the hip at 180 or -180 degrees. It doesn't happen if it's 170 or 181. Usually, I could just put it at 179 and call it good, but I was working on a pose where she was interacting with someone else, and even the slightest change could mess it up.

I've tried the conforming options, and I've copied the joint zones. Neither helped.

I do have the latest version installed. Parenting doesn't help. Changing the offsets made it worse.

Try this https://www.renderosity.com/filelocker/57236/download?key=7314 It should be a link you can click on, but I've had them become inactive. If that happens, you should still be able to copy and paste it

Thread: To install Poser 5. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I still have Poser 5 on my computer. I didn't even realize it until today. I wasn't able to get it to work even with different. I only have Windows 10 but I doubt 11 is more backwards than 10.
Poser 8 was the first with Flash. I also still had Poser 7 on my machine until recently.
