Thip has a nice robe in Freestuff; that might suit you: search on 'Thip'. The robe is for Michael, an dit's very nice. I'm not sure what episcopal/Anglican robes look like, so I'm not sure if this will work for you, but there is always postwork. :) --Shosuro
Thread: Anime, third release...(Hi-Res)...[WIP] | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow, this is looking amazing! I can't wait to see the high-res characters! My two cents: Crescent is, of course, right: these are Ranma 1/2 figures, as you intended. However, as the general shape of the characters is so universaly Anime, I think that if you were to create an entirely original character or two based off of these figures, perhaps citing the incredibly prolific Rumiko Takahashi as the creative inspiration behind the figures, you shouldn't have any problems. The main appeal to me in your work is the overall shape and proportions of the model: exquisitely Anime, almost archetypally so. Lesbentley: I've been playing with Akane and Poser's Sketch Renderer, with some occasionally very nice results (I'd post a few, but I don't tend to save them; I'm hoping to put something together with lights and all for folk to download). I think Little Dragon's point is well taken: eyelashes, even if there are just four broad wedge-shaped things, might be a godsend to the cartoon artist. Anyway, it's looking fantastic, and I am very much looking forward to seeing this complete-- however long it takes to perfect. :) So when are you going to model Happosai, hmn?

WHA ha ha ha! My dock bounces with hilarity. It knows it won't be bouncing any Poser icons in teh near future.
Thread: FWIW - Mil Dragon Tex at 50% resolution on an original iMac | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Woo! Nice! I didn't even try the dragon on my old iMac-- but then, I'm terrified to crank the virtual memory past 256. Old-fashioned, I guess. Oh, and BTW, Wynter, yes. My MAT poses don't work either.

Thanks Dreamer-- I did commit a typo there. I haven't renamed any folders since the squeaky clean install. :) Okay, here's what I've done: I made a new folder called Plug-Ins, and stuck that in my Applications folder. I trashed KPT7 and reinstalled it to this folder. Then under Photoshop's Plug-Ins and Scratch Disks preferences dialogue, I specified the new Plug-Ins folder additional plug-ins. Restart Photoshop. Alas, no joy! I think they just don't work in OSX. I can use these filters if I start Photoshop from within the Mac's Classic environment (effectively running it under OS9 in OSX) but it's sooooooooo slooooooooow when I do that. Ah well... there's always PS6 in OS9. Thanks!

Hmm-- okay. I point it to Applications/Adobe Photoshop 7.0/plug ins/filters/KPT Effects... choose. Quit Photoshop & restart... Nope, that didn't do it! Oh drat, it sounded like such a good suggestion. I wonder if the older carbon version is just incompatible with PS? Some more research indicates that an OSX specific version of KPT 7 was planned for release in the not too distant past, but I'm having difficulty accessing ProCreate's site to verify. M'mm. Gragfrscnazl! Thanks for your help. I hope I can get this working... I can always use it in PS6 under OS9, but PS7 is so nice! And new! And snazzy! Allright, I'll stop ranting now... :) Benedictions!

I'm a Macintosh afficionado, and I am not planning to upgrade to P5 if and when it comes out. While I'm very impressed with quite a bit of what P5 seems to be able to do, I have yet fully to explore the possibilities P4 has to offer and my machine is a bit too wimpy to run P5 adequately-- and I JUST upgraded. ;) What's more, I'm seeing all the bug reports. Until I know that the Mac version is free of those bugs (and free of bugs that bug fixes cause that no one ever fixes because their Mac bugs on a primarily PC-user based product) I'm not springing for it. It's cash I don't have, anyway. My next purchase will be Extreme Morph 3d, now I have OSX. Personally, I'm happy with my P4 (not even Pro Pack), and I'm really having fun with it now that I have a snazzier machine on which to run it. It's stable (Poser NEVER crashes; then, most things don't), it's good, it's as much as I need.
