I, personally, never go to Lannie's site, due to the overkill on cookies, banners and pop-up(and under) windows. BUT, I agree 100% on Lannie's attitude to remote linking and bandwidth abuse. If the siteowner wants to supply online services to the public and prohibits remote direct linking access, then this should be respected and NOT abused.

What a great loss for the modeling world :( Renderosity is a delightful community for both professional- and budding artists. Unfortunately, RIP-OFF artists seem to distort the standard code of conduct. Your desicion to close down Morph World 2.0 is very sad news, but don't forget, thousands of MATURE and DECENT 'Posarians' will remember you and BOYCOTT any misuse of your morphs and other nifty creations. Best wishes to you.

Sorry, just checked. Not the same one. But still a bowler prop. Hmmm... what should I do now ? Siegbert

Yes, I still have it available. The Bowler.pp2 and the Bowler.rsr. I shall now rezip it and send it to Edward. HTH Siegbert
Thread: Can anyone get this .mat to work? | Forum: Bryce
Hi, I just downloaded the mat. I checked the mat with a hex-editor and saw that the header is defect and also at the bottom some parameters representing the attributes have unusual ascii codes. These are not common in *.mat files. You will have to get in touch with the author, I think Siegbert

That is magnificent. I am sure someone here would host that package for you. This sure is one of the finest 3D_Art communities (if not the best) on the net. Siegbert

Just what I have always wanted. Pity I can't afford them either, at the moment. Well, I suppose I shall have to save my Pfennigs now. Really nice work, Liz. Siegbert

Velvet, if you want the Buffalo in 3DS format (Hide, Horns, Mouth, Eyes, Feet, Tail and Mane), I have it now as a zip file (238 KB's) and am willing to email it to you if you wish. The original mesh is NOT mine ( I just converted from OBP to 3DS and made it multi-layer), but I do remember that there were no restrictions on redeveloping and redistribution of the Buffalo mesh. Wow... That sure is a lot of money they are charging in Brazil. However, take a look at POV-Ray. Be warned, though, POV-Ray's image developing interface isn't as easy as Bryce. Happy modelling, dzarts. Siegebrt

dzarts. Yes, a Mac version is available. The user manual is HUGE. I only wish I still had my Mac. It was tooo expensive to keep up with the Mac hardware development. I have had to downgrade to Pentium III (MMX) BTW. This is NOT an OS flame !!!! I just prefer the Mac, but could no longer afford it. The PIII is good enough for what I need it for. Siegbert

Many, many moons ago, I used the POV on my ATARI !!! It had/has a very powerful parser. The new version is available at http://www.povray.org/ If I remember correctly, there was even an object designer (Breeze.exe) that save created models in POV format. The POV-Ray engine is a pure Raytracer, I think, and can beat many other kinds of render apps. Siegbert P.s There are textures which are assigned in an #include colors parameter. Nonetheless, very impresive image.
Thread: adding preset categories | Forum: Bryce
You sure have a wealth of information, Ken. Although, I was on the right track on Bryce_Preset matters, your tutorial is spot on. Well explained. I like it. Thanks ken. Siegbert

Strange, I sent this but the thread linkage did not register it. I shall try again. Velvet, I have a freeware buffalo somewhere on my CD's. It is a non-posable Buffalo in Bryce OBP format. Unfortunately, I no longer have the URL ( it was soooo long ago ). I shall e-mail it to you if you send me a privvy-email on where to send it. Jaager. Point taken. Apparently, your knowledge and experience on matters of American Culture is way beyond my horizon. My personal education on europian history (Germany, in particular), has a hostile tinge embedded within. Nothing to be proud of. So I wish to apologise to you. I took Velvet's request at face value, because this is a Poser Forum where fantasy rules. It does not really matter why Velvet wanted the said items. Although, now that we know the thoughts behind Velvet's request, it does make things more interesting. Keep well (All) Siegbert :)

I knew I had them somewhere. As I keep any ReadMe's as reference, I also have the URL http://amber.rc.arizona.edu/modeling.html Here you will find a canoe and oars. Happy modeling (greetings, Nance) HTH Siegbert :)

Jaager. there was no need for that arrogant remark. Somewhere I have a canoe and paddles. I shall email them to someone who has a download site. Siegbert
