Quote - Before you jump in with both feet, may I suggest some heavy reading here first:
Start here:
http://www.morphography.uk.vu/modtut1.html
and read the entire tutorial.
He does an incredible job of de-mistifying the process and helps you understand the tools you will need.
I will! I glanced and it looks helpful, I feel a bit out of sorts on the process right now so this looks great. Thanks for sharing that with me! I think I feel like I modeled this shirt, and it turned out and it turned out not to shabby. I just want it to instantly work on my Poser Figure! If only it were that easy. :)

I think I'm going to try out PhilC's 'cheat' way for now! Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out and not be throwing money into the wind again!
This all brought up another question for me though, PhilC's or the tutorials I watched listed here, don't really address creating the morphs for clothing so if someone were to give V4 (or whatever character) a bigger chest, the clothing I create won't morph with it with PhilC's thing... is there a tool out there that helps create the morphs? Or can someone point me in the direction of some helpful tutorials on that as well?
TIA!

Thanks guys! Of course, I've used google I even have (purchased) a tutorial, but I was still lost! Which is why the next logical step for me was to ask for some help. I will be happily looking over the suggestions, and I so totally appreciate the helpful responses!!

Raven: Still good to know, I'm thinking about making the plunge and upgrading but I'm afraid of screwing up my runtime. :)

raven - That looks cool, but I have Poser 8. So not sure it would work for me. :(
Kobaltkween - Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot.

Just trying to get the pose right and I didn't want to wait for a large render... just wanted to peek. And I thought maybe no censor would open this thread to more comments. I don't need her boobies staring back at me everytime I open this thread. :)
I'm trying to copy a human pose so it's a little frustrating when V4 gets lumpy but my human refrerence isn't! :)

You can see the problems by her right arm (our left) especially by the arm pit and more so in the un-rendered image.

OK I think I got it now... not sure what I was doing wrong. But closed everything down tried it again today and it seems to work. Thanks for the help!

Here is how mine starts:
{
version
{
number 8
}
mtlCollection
{
material 4_InnerMouth
{
I will edit to:
{
version
{
number 8
}
figure
{
material 4_InnerMouth
{
Save as pz2, copy over the png file. Opened Poser and nothing. It recognizes the file supposedly, I don't get that 'warning'... but it also doesn't load my pz2/skin mat.
How do I know if they are "compressed files"? When I look at the file type in the materials folder, it says "mc6" so I'm assuming it's not. I'm starting to see why Sam just applies his mats in the materials room... sheesh. I just thought putting it in the pose folder would allow me one-click access, quick and easy. not so quick, and not so easy.
