Thread: The Art of Infinity Exhibition, Gloucestershire, UK ~ Starts today! | Forum: Fractals
Hi Tina,
Have just been to the exhibition online site, fantastic work by yourself, Janet and the others involved. Hope it all goes well for you with the exhibition, only sorry I cannot get up to Gloucester to see it for real.

Hi guys,
nattarious - the old scanner is HP OfficeJet G55. (Steam driven!). Yes have tried auto levels, auto colours, and auto contrast in photoshop cs.Â
Have come to the conclusion that the answer is to buy the Cannon 4200F, and have added it to my wish list! along with new computer, my old Dell is celebrating it's 6th birthday this year and doesnot support USB2, poor old thing. Old age creeps up so fast in the world of computers
thanks for all your help, regards aramina

Thanks guys for your prompt replies.
Two Pynts - I think the inverted images turn blue because the film neg is orange and the invert colour for orange is blue, and I don't know how to get the colour back into the image
girsempa - My scanner is quite a few years old infact I think it may even by around 10 years old, out the arc in IT terms (HP Office Jet G55) and as far as I know doesnot have a film option. This could mean I will not be able to solve this problem without a new scanner. my other half will be pleased!
Again thanks for the prompt answers, regards aramina

Thread: Patio Door Fractal Clings | Forum: Fractals
what a great idea, and the end result is superb. when I saw 'clings' I thought you meant the small circles we have over here to stick on patio windows when they are closed to stop folk bumping into them, but yours are wonderful. love the way you have reflected the mirror image. Brilliant!

another handy tip is always work on a duplicate of your original image, that way if you can't remember what you've done, and purged the history you can always start from the original again
