I like that one too! Thanks for your help TinaK! I went through a lot of the 2d section, still couldn't find them - goes to prove if you see something you like, grab it straight away haha. Thanks again

oooo I love the first link you gave me! - I had a feeling Melkor did the backgrounds - they were sort of grungy/vintage type, had like a fun house, grass and a tent background in it.

Not long ago I bought a 22 inch...I HAD to put the brightness down on it because whenever I was working on there for any amount of time, I felt like I was staring into a fluoro bulb. Talk about Headache City.

Quote - The hat looks good, by the way.
LOL!
Hey sorry it took me a while to reply - unfortunately I couldn't replicate the problem, seems like it fixed itself...so far.

seems to be, never had trouble with the textures on that one - but let me check on that to make sure, could be the graphics card playing up or may need updating. Just give me a day or so. (puts Bryce hat on)

Quote - We tried all kind of things. We finally took his comp. back to an earlier time, He also had a very persistant adware on it, couldn't remove it manually, you might check for that. It seemed to mess with several systems.
The adaware thing would not surprise me - but never had the trouble on Bryce 6 (???). Only other thing I can think of doing is rendering in Bryce 6 and making a obp file to go into Bryce 7 - but shouldn't have to grrrrrr++++!

I got this too on the purchase of Bryce 7 Pro. No idea how to fix this - the obj will just be white when I try and put a texture on it.

thanks heaps 3dArena! Unfortunately though, while I really like those owls, I am a bit Poser/DS dumb, would prefer models and brushes - thanks again :O)

Hi F3Rider!!
If you put a sphere around your entire Bryce scene, you can put a atmosphere layer on it of your choice (this gives some wicked effects). Then you can drag your mountain even further into the background, and it gives it that hazy look. Also if you put light beyond the sphere, this gives some great effects as well - I always have fun doing those.

thanks heaps you guys, going to have a nosey in the galleries again and see if i can pick up something. i bought the vue 6 revealed as well, which has taught me about the camera work so far. But you know what was funny - I put a backdrop in Vue 7, got a nice pattern of pretty pinstriping (supposed to be clouds). So then I closed that down, put it into Vue 6 and it worked perfect (though i have to figure out the zoom numbers). I cracked up laughing with the Vue 7 version, because the pinstriping didn't look that bad actually LOL

Ahhhh thanks for that thread, i gotcha! where do you put in the 2000km's though - all i can see so far is the standard res size 512x512, 1024x1024 etc

mmm would be nice, the only thing is i would like to know how to make my own rather than the default ones. everytime i try to edit the infinite terrain, it shrinks :O(
