that doesn't make a difference, all text in all programs exept the bitmap fonts are vector, so alse the tekst you type in photoshop... the problem is dpi, i assume that you'd like to print it? then use a higher dpi value, standard photoshop uses 72 dpi, that's the standard resolution for a monitor, but mutch to low for work that's to be printed... a printer has a resolution of 300 or 600 dpi, higher is interpolated, so if you want to make good work, you make it with a resolution of at least 300 dpi, than you won't see any pixelated text! hope this helps svdf

you could desaturate your image or convert it to black&white and then use (image>adjustments>)posterize, with a value of 2 for levels... or use (image>adjustments>)threshold for more precision... but if you want to have a halftone pattern you have to convert your image to black&white (desaturate doesn't work in this case...) and then go to filter>pixelate>color halftone and click ok... then you could have grey things like shadows, but still the image is purely black and white... i hope this helps... grd

Thread: Inner bevel doesn't work properly? | Forum: Photoshop
i'm not shure but i think you mean eye candy, from aliens skin (http://www.alienskin.com/ec4k/ec4000_filters.html) you could try the "bevel boss" filter or the "chrome" filter or maybe even the "glass" filter, but i think the bevel boss is waht you're looking for... grd

how did you flatten it? cntrl+E for each layer? cuz that always gives me problems with layer modes with me... try cntrl+shift+e wich flattens all visible layers at once... and converting in diffrentformats doens't help anyway... if you dan't have the good result in photoshop, you will never get it... hope this helps grd
Thread: Photoshop - fake images | Forum: Photoshop
well i dont think that there are techniques to see it, you just see if it's fake or you don't, nowdays we can produce very realistic fake images with tools like photoshop, and 3d programs, so it's more how good the artist/faker is with his programs. sometimes if you look close you can see things like that the proportions look weird (so that it looks like the ufo is really small, or the houses (if you see any) look fake, or that the edges are blurry, what means that the object isn't cut from his background well, but these are just things which you notice without anyone telling you, and if you don't see any strange things, the image is good faked, or the image isn't fake (wich won't be the case with your ufo image... ;) i hope that helped grd stef
