I recently had one of my fractals removed from my gallery at deviantart for NOT being a fractal even though I clearly stated which program i used. I began wondering if post work makes it NOT A FRACTAL anymore but heck i don't think so... thanks guys. laura

Absolutely a fractal in my opinion, and a GORGEOUS one at that. It is mostly fractal with a little bit of 'other'... is the reason I think so... just WOW. I love it!

See, I'm sure its not on purpose... and I think also that when I need improvement in my 3d work (hahaha which is EVERY TIME) people would rather say nothing than to point out needed improvements... so I think that is also a factor. I don't hold it against anyone but I'd love to get better at bryce. I am pretty determined to do so... so if any of you would like to email back and forth I don't mind doing that either... Laura (V)

Well i had the same experience but i have to say i'm new to bryce so my stuff is.....odd. so i didn't blame anyone but the response thing really does help to keep someone motivated to work harder on a program and without any input it makes for a lonely artist... sigh. (((hug))) welcome to my world. hahaha v

High five Harmen. I like that the hot 20 exists for sure, but I don't place too much importance in it. HAHAHA I know what you mean about 'accidentally' voting, I feel the same way if someone votes on mine. We're just typical artists, I think. v

ahhhh now i see what you mean ... you're wondering if someone wants the favor returned. I am pretty snazzy in my ability to read others usually but this thought slipped by me because i didn't think of it. I guess you would need to try and get rid of any kind of 'feeling of obligation' to anyone who may be doing that but that lies with you, not the voter. See I think it would SUCK if people voted on my images only because I voted on theirs. It would be doing me a great disservice if it really didn't stand on its own merit, my art... I personally do not care about the hot 20 and rarely look, except to see if there are any images I've missed, once in a while. I guess what I'm saying is that each person has his/her own reasons and its up to the artist his/herself to decide on how to feel about it in general because if you worry about people being dishonest, what good will it do to ask 'hey are you dishonest'? You wouldn't believe them anyway right? hahaha (((hug))) looking for you in chat. V

I know. me too. I got in there earlier today and there were lots of people and I left for about 20 min. and BLAM. no one. it happens like that for me, once a week I can find ppl in there but thats it. :( I'll keep checking though.

hmmm well, my little one's birthday was today so I was hosting a party with a ton of 5 year olds running around. hahaha i'll keep checking.
