Okay, I'm nowhere as good as Chiyo-ni, or Basho, and I'm certainly not good enough with written Japanese to do true justice to Haiku, but in the spirit of my two Haiku-masters (the lady and man named above) here's my first shot in a couple of years:
Fog. The moon, adrift:
Sand cutting between his toes.
Night's victim, running.
This whole haiku thing is something that I can't ignore, so I'm sure that there will be other attempts a bit later on.

WOW! Congratulations to everyone who made it into this particular collection! It's an honor for one of my works to be included as well! There's some superb work here, and I look forward to exploring further into the galleries that this selection came from. Thank you for including me, and congratulations to EVERYONE included.

Wow. Interesting, kinda cool, and eerie all at once. It strikes me that in our society, there are people who have jobs that involve making inanimate things like computers, robots, and dolls more human-like, while humans--the real flesh and blood kind--are continually encouraged to become more robotic/artificial. Ah...the strangeness of society. Great link though.

Funny, we're past the closing date of this challenge, and I'm still thinking of something. I keep trying to write, but stuff just keeps happening and I'm incredibly distracted. Ugh...oh well...I'll write something! Late or not!

I've been away from Renderosity...or rather here, irregularly, but I'd love to submit something. I'm a bit pinched for time right now due to...well...lets just say that at times real life is actually stranger than fiction. Anyway, I'm definitely interested in submitting something. I'll look at the site you referenced, but out of curiosity as of this moment, at least, are they any deadlines I should be aware of?

So many of the images on this roster are images that I took particular notice of...and there are some brilliant new surprises here for me as well! Brilliant work, everyone, and thank you all for posting! Every image here is worthy of a lot more attention! Fantastic stuff!

Gorgeous, poetic work here...I loved reading these. I'd contribute my own, but as of now, I have nothing to write. My head's still wrapped around other stuff, including a gnarly piece of science fiction that only cooperates with my efforts to write it PART of the time. But I'll be around, and if something pops up, I'll definitely write it down! I love the stuff here though, great vows and observations! Fantastic, heady stuff!

This is a powerful piece of writing, and it touches on so much. I'm in good health (so far) and CAN work, but what strikes me is something a friend of mine once said. "There is no reason to get up in the morning, there is no purpose in life." It sounds cynical and depressive on the surface, but what I noticed is the incredible amount of freedom embodied in that sentiment. There are no reasons to get up in the mornings, there is no meaning to life...this doesn't mean that it's not worth it to get up and live, it just means that the universe/world is kind and gentle enough to let us all come up with our own reasons! We have no obligations, no real ones anyway...and so to get up and to live is actually a choice, and each time we do it for our own reasons, we give meaning to those things that are inherently meaningless. Humans are pretty darn good at that. THIS is why I like your poem so much; it reminds me of that, and it lets me see that as long as I (or anyone else) continues to strive, I'm (or we are) giving meaning to so many different things.
Great work here!

WOW! I wasn't expecitng one of my photographs to be chosen for display here...but I am deeply honored, especially since all of the other images selected were of extremely great quality. THANK YOU for including me and contratulations to everyone else who was included, especially since all of the photos show such an extreme range of topics and creative capture techniques. This is a great feature and I'm glad to be a part of it.
