How can you elliminate clones here, since many merchants and artists and other folks here use clones just to mingle or vent or have opinions or to help out on the forums?!
If folks here were themselves all the time, with the way these kind of forums are, and the hotheads at times over the smallest warts in a thread, you could find yourself out of business or backballed or the worst artist of the month in no time at all without even trying to upset anyone or anything!
Just from having an opinion, you could be a smeared forum member, tarred and feathered and fed to internet limbo.

As for genuine trolls and moles, they will always be here as on other forums whether it's pay or not because they don't really have much else to do and usually have too much time and money, and unfortunatly far too often they're friends and enemies are here and they want to belong or just live online to upset.

I suppose TurboSquid would be like some specialty craft stores I like going to, and sometimes I do buy something I know I won't catch anywhere else, not caring about the price, I just want it and so I get it. But no matter how much I adore the craft stores I still get peeved if I see how much they charge for something I know I can get much cheaper at Wal-Mart or elsewhere, or if it's just a silly trinket and they charge megabucks. I guess we are all used to daz and renderosity market pricing and then it just seems rediculous to see such expensive similar stuff elsewhere. Obviously there is something worthwhile there and it has its' place for 3D consumers or TurboSquid wouldn't be TurboSquid. But us bunch here being funny about the place are not the only ones joking or venting about it, it's a standard curiousity and a bellylaugh for many who browse and shop around for 3D stuff.

You have good points to ponder except I never suggested I hate this and I hate that and I can't stand this and want to spit on that and strangle the world. Sure, it's not good to gripe and boo and whine and hiss about anything and everything, just like it's not too smart for someone to have road rage about somebody cutting them off or not signalling or going through a red light or running someone over and taking off or just driving darn awful, there's just nothing you can really do by having road rage, it just looks dumb upon you. Yeah, imagine.. -Having only one main, big seller in the marketplace! -Curious Labs buying everything! -Corel buying everything! -Only certain artists always monopolizing the hot twenty! -Wal-Mart opening up across from your fave Mall that's too expensive! -You take months to create something awsome to sell and Daz decides to give away that same similar item for free! -You make a nice big dinner for your family and then find out they already ate at Macdonalds on the way home! -You spend months making a texture to sell and someone else only takes a couple of days, but the other one sells ten times as fast as yours because it is advertised on a younger looking model that looks more provocative!! -Every fashion store out there starts catering only to Japanese Anime looking styles meaning we women all get to wear only short, tight school outfits and high heels!!! -Your having a hard time selling a 3D Basketball you created for 1.99 only to find out Turbosquid is having no problem at all selling one for thirty times as much!! Can you imagine!!

Be careful with those CAPITALS, it looks like your trying to yell LOUDER than everyone else and that could cost you extra if ths place were to go paysite. CAPITAL tax!! By the way, pay toilets are happening. Wonder how long it will be before someone makes you pay per pee or per weight of number two, and base the cost on how long and how much and charge per sheet and quality of toilet paper or maybe they'll just add a blow dry?

If you happen to be an artist and need tools to help you create 3D art, why would you pay for items at turbosquid when you can purchase an entire app like poser with everything and more already there??

If your into making stuff in Max, then you would take the time and effort to make it yourself in Max and again not pay these crazy amounts, like for a basketball???

Max and Maya and Lightwave are expensive, and rightly so, because you really should be serious if your going to get involved in learning these apps and then your possibly working for places like daz.
But to buy stuff at such high prices when you really don't need to, well, having too much money to spend certainly does not guarantee smarts!
It's like seeing a skirt at some place cost a hundred dollars and then seeing the same skirt at wal-mart for one quarter the price, am I going back to pay a hundred?

I guess it's just like folks selling psp tubes of cloned twinky artwork all over the net, no one knows better and buys the stuff on impulse because it happens to sparkle at the moment and money is burning a hole in someones pocket!

If he wasn't hugging it or rinsing it, he must have had quite a wanger!! Wish I knew whether he won that lawsuit?? Getting back to the original cake of all this, if you have to make it a pay site to be able to say this place has just great work or to get comments, that's pretty bad. Just as bad as Willy with the wanger making a lawsuit for his own splashing blunder! If I joined cookie club where women of all walks got together to bake and create cookies and share dessert recipies, it be real fun, but if some of us started thinking we were the cat's meow and our cookies were just too good for your avwerage cookie club and it's time to pay up if you wanna be in our club, why do find that just like we're having to pay to be giood cookie bakers?? Kind of takes away from all the fun and reality of it all and makes it seem like those great artists are just fooling, er, buying their own greatness. To suggest that making this a pay site will make this place only have good art, well, that is just as bad as getting all your friends together to vote you in and go wow on your work and make you look awsome and the greatest!! So why should we women touch the seat after you men put it up to take a wiz? They should make a spring coil we can attach to toilet seats so they just jump back into place after 'he' forgets to put it back! tynana, why should we clean his thrown? After a while, maybe put some dysinfectant and insecticide beside his toilet as a reminder for when things get too harsh and outhouse like. Did you happen to hear about the guy who went to some popular coffee place and had to take a wee and while he was enjoying a good splash the toilet seat fell on his winky? He tried to sue for aching bruises, not sure how that went. So what the heck was he so close for? He must have been either hugging the toilet or trying to rinse it off!

Separate bathrooms is the only answer! That way we get our seats left down and don't have to clean up all the dribbling mess and the toilet paper roll unravels the way we like it!!

But what if they are 'provocative'? Should that not be as bad as naked? When you see a young girl with a mini skirt up to the crack of dawn or legs parted ever so seductively or with Lolita like faces looking like they are hungry for milkshakes, is that not just as bad if not WORSE? Okay now, back to the Amityville horror remake. Heard from a couple of people that saw it this Weekend that this latest remake really is very bad, only thing missing was the ghost of a naked Jar Jar Binks!! At least that would have been shockingly sick enough to make folks puke Excorcist style!

Turbosquid has been around for some time. So how do they survive? Seems somebody keeps them in business or they sure wouldn't be so damn rediculous and arrogant with their prices!! Turbosquid-an octopus type creature with turbo power that has many arms to wrap around those with too much money and suckers to leech out that extra money!! How sick is that?? Caviar tastes damn awful too, but people still pay the price for it, just to look cool and smell like dead fish after.
