Quote: Don't know if that's what they call "Poser Artist" now. Maybe you can find a used version at ebay or one of those, not sure. If somebody is interested contact him by IM. To prevent any "spam" of some sort I'll lock this thread. ------------------------------------------------ Seems to me a reason WAS given. Perhaps one your not happy with though. As for finding a copy, Ebay's a good bet.

Any, all you have to do is resize it. A lot of the daz hairs has updates to fit them, or you can use Netherworks hair kits to resize freebie hair or ones that don't have morphs/figures.

If you try to make a figure transparent you'll still see bits of the teeth, tounge, etc so what I do is export the figure as an obj file, deselecting the parts I don't want or I know that will show (for example if the person is wearing a full robe, why do I need the legs, thighs, torso, whatever). Then I import it as an obj file as a single figure. There apre probably other easier ways to do it, just what I've done before

I've done it by posing the figure, exporting it and bringing it back in w/o the bodyparts I need, then giving it a 25-50% transperancy, then doing some postwork on it.

Open up the material editor and go to the object/Material you want to have the reflection. On the Reflection, click the plug and go to Lighting:Ray Trace:Reflection (I belive that's it, I don't have it open, close enough for government work though). That's pretty much it if you want a simple one. RuntimeDNA, the Forums here, and DAZ I think has tutorials on how to do it. Oh, and don't forget to turn Shadow Catcher off in the materials tab for the item, plus you have to do a Ray Tracing @ the higher rendering (render settings, Firefly tab, move the slider to the right)

and the settings need to be turned up higher. But I was giving HK the benefit of the doubt on those things :)
