I do not understand why you thumbs would be that big. Are you using Photoshop? or psp? either have a optimizing feature that should be able to easily make the image sized to fit. It is also easyer to not thumb the whole picture but a corner of it or a "teaser" of it. This way you do not have to worry about sizing the whole image and can get a good thumb for the gallery. I usually do this with opening a new window in psp. making it 150x200 and pasting a copy of the pic into it moving it around abit to get a good corner then I optimise that so that it fits with the specs for the gallery Hope this helps :)

actually about the copyright infringment in court you can only sue for loss of income if you have your copy right actually registerd {this is not expensive to do most times about 30 dollars for me when I did it} {also for those that may not be able to afford a lawyer most states have a legal aid which works on a sliding scale and they can help you wish any questions on the matter as well} What is a pain in the arse, is that most of the time the paperwork and the legal prossess you have to go through IS expensive as you also have to go through the server that they used. {I had to do this with microsoft I had to get a court order to get records showing this person KNEW full well they were stealing and was doing it with purpose and had done so repeatedly}THAT cost a HUGE amount and I dont know about the rest of you but as a Working mother that does make income from my work {off and online} it took a healthy chunk from my income to do it all. What I find totally disgusting is that these tubers {Not all tubers mind you} that will cry bloody murder about "do not redistribute my tubes with out permisson" I mean they didnt even MAKE the art they just cut it from someone elses work. They dont want someone stealing from them but they think it is ok to steal from others.

on the web sites I have built for myself and others I know the varied no right click scripts and I also know there are ways around everyone of them. it is so frustrating that it is not even funny. the fact that particularly with explorer all you have to do is mouse over most pics and you then get the icons to either save it or send it via email doesnt help either it is like they are contributing and encouraging the theft of images.

I think the idea about writing out congress men is a great idea. perhaps a petition if you will. that will show that the laws need to be changed. kinda makes you wish right click didnt exist doesnt it?

GUH again!?! the only way I know to make it hard on someone steeling an image is to put your sig right across the bloody thing. like Linda Brkvst does {I know I spelt that wrong but sorry} and most servers will take down the work that is used. Also I hate to tell those out there that like to hide behind that fair usage thing only if you give proper credit and contact information to the creator of a piece can you hide behind that one legaly. it doesnt look like that was done.{specially if one of them said it was not to be used for tubes etc etc that is clearly stateing that it was not allowed there for negateing any fair usage} I know this past summer I spent alot of money on copyright infringment due to MSN not takeing care of crap.{retainer alone for a lawyer was 5ooo dallors that was just a retainer} They refused to take down work that I proved was mine and that I had not given permission to use. and it was NOT used to make money it was simply used with out permission.

nahhh I dont think you are rambling, But it made a good point. I think the Nude vicky in the temple thing is a mandatory initiation. {hehe I just did one recently} Nudity ..I just dont see what is wrong with it. porn ok I can understand that one {open scenes of sexual acts} I have seen plenty of absolutly stunning nude renders in here. I think it also has to do with artists trying to capture the human form in a natural way. {afte all that is why art students are made to draw the bare human form to learn how it looks and moves} I mean you get a human figure to work with ....the possibilities are endless and the form is beautiful.

I wonder...since the complaint was about the naked woman what would they say if we started doing naked men in temples?

as far as the beginers...we were all beginers at some point and their work is just as worthy as anyones elses. I mean no one grabs poser and does an amazing piece. but here a beginer can get the confidence to move on and continue working with poser and the other proggies. Two, then apparently you dont have as big a problem with Renderosity as it would seem. You like the content you like the work in it you like the things you can get at it. it seems you may have more of a problem with particular artists and not Renderosity. I have to wonder what started this thread..what piece you saw that made you go "ok I am gonna post" I have seen things in the galleries that were not what I consider acceptable..but all in all I think Renderosity galleries and the artists held with in are great! it is a place that people can come and grow and learn {god there are some wonderful tutorials that really teach you alot to get better renders} Beginers can come and test their wings. experienced artists can come and show and share and teach. ~smiles~ People can come and speak their minds and share knowledge. The support people get here in their efforts is amazing. I just wish people would not say "renderosity is this or that or porn filled or crap" when really they have a problem with an artist..a genry or a particular picture. Trust me Renderosity is not porn filled..I have seen some sites that would make prostitute blush! and Renderosity is not one of them.

tits to not necessarily mean hits.....My best peace {in my opinion} was a portrait of a veiled womans face...not even the body. Why do most people do woman? I can only speak for myself and that is that I find the female form fascinateing. the amazing curves planes.,..movement ..grace ...sensuality ...is just amazing to me. But again there is the difference between someone puting two figures together in a sexual scene and most of the work I see in here...I am sorry but MOST of the work I see in here is not trash or bad renders. I see ALOT of totally amazing work on nude and clothed figures alike. What I am geting sick of ..is people siting complaining about how bad Renderosity is..how much bad work is in here....how they dont like the nudes.....yet they are not only looking once..but apparently STILL looking and STILL here. to me that doesnt seem logical. if it was that offensive the first time why are you still looking and why are you still here and complaining?

erm I am sorry but anyone that thinks opening vicky hiting a pose and posting it is as easy as he is making it out...is just not being realistic. it is not that easy to get a good nude done. just like puting someone naked in front of a camera is not nude art. it takes angels lighting posing....etc. Also if you think nude figures are not art then I suggest you never look at statues done by the masters such as David..or venus...cus I hate to tell you they were {shock horror gasp}NUDE. that is right how bout that NUDE ~ART~. I will say that just a naked render is not art..the "mood" the layout the whole "package" of the piece is what makes a difference as I am sure many artists here will atest to. Now if lets say there were pics everywhere in here at Renderosity that depicted explicate genital contact and out right sex/orgy scenes I could understand you complaining. I guess you dont like Royo? Boris Vallejo? or Vegas? they do nude art...
