Hmmmm, maybe I misunderstand a tad, Can you briefly explain what a Mask (Transmap)is? I have worked a bit with primitives. But I tried to insert a .png into the primitive and got all black? Any thoughts where I went wrong? CM BTW>No feedback on my background colour? :(?

Hi Acadia! It is an embellishment! Not a Background. I actually know how those get inserted. I need to place a ball of plasma in her hand, I already mede the plasma ball>it is on a Transparent background and needs to stay that way! Other wise I can't make it fit in the womans hand. Imagine making an image of something in Photoshop or PSP, then you want to take that into P6, How can I do that? It is like a Tube, no background, and I want to keep it that way. Then use it in P6. Am I way off??? I just need to know what other files P6 will recognize and HOW to INSERT It! Cause I am just having no end of issues! LOL!!! Look at me trying to get way ahead of myself! ThanX! ThanX English Bob! (*You too Acadia!!!) I do mostly post production in PSP, but I saw the neat stuff with mist done in Poser so that it had a depth that I liked. I am still learning what works best used in P6 and what is best done Post production! All I know is that this is very satifying!!! And on the next questions...if I make a prop 2 d in PSP/Paint etc, like fog! Can I open and use it in P6? and what format is best to save it in to use in P6?.Png? for a transparent pic? And .jpeg for a solid prop? And here's the Stupid Question! What is a Square Prop? *blonde moment hehehehehe! ThanX! CrimsonMoon

The original post i was looking for was asking about how to create Fog/Mists in Poser>then the secound part was on weither if I create something in PSP, and save it as either a .jpeg or .png, can I import it into Poser???? Reply to NickedShield>the only 2 items are V3 and Aiko, that is all I have put in from my download folder which I keep on my F Drive. I was told by a friend to never install directly into the P6 in my C drive. So I download and open in my secoundary drive and copy it over to a folder called open>from there I install into the P6program when it is open. Trouble is all sorts of stuff tagged along! and now there is extra things that made no sense. So to be clear>I can download all my Plants Runtimes into a Plant Folder, and install it as that in the props section of the libraries???? Would the textures and Mats (*if supplied) go there too?
