**bagginsbill:
PLEASE HELP. I just discovered your APP and your GENIUS, but I can not download Matmatic and have been trying to for hours.
Your site to download "MatmaticBeta1.zip" is down, or at least FireFox keeps saying it can't find server. Not just once, I have been trying for 4 hours straight while researching this incredible work.
I work in P6, but in the future might upgrade to P7. Regardless, you stated at RDNA that the original "MatmaticBeta1.zip" is required for P7 assimilation. Please help, I would love to try to reach your level so I can actually start producing work worthwhile enough to publish.
Thank You in advance, and for all your posts here and at RDNA, I have learned alot. Off to play with Material Room. Yay!
Take care all...

Thread: More free models!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
gtrdon wrote: "Wings I tried it. Maybe its just me but my opinion Wings seems to have a very crude interface and crashes alot on my system." Wings3D is a work in progress, so if you have the latest release you might encounter some problems (crashes, etc.). I personally don't ever use the latest releases (I stay back a few), because each new release is to fix previous bugs, or impliment new tools, and sometimes when something is fixed another thing is broken in the process. Which in turn needs to be fixed in the next release. I use a very stable (no crashes) release with all the working plugins, and I have no problems on my system. But my system also includes a multiple removable drive system, so I am able to test the new releases on one drive while actually creating models for Poser on another drive. As far as you see it as having a "crude" interface: Do you mean simplistic, or in your opinion, just plain ugly? Some of us subscribe to K.I.S.S., and in my opinion, it is an adequte interface for it's purpose.
Thread: Best 3D modeling app (for the price)? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
daverj sed: "I'm wanting to do some mesh work on Poser figures" daverj: I do alot of mesh manipulation on Poser figures myself, and I own a variety of 3D modelling programs; TrueSpace 4,Rhino 2,RayDream Studio 3D, RayDream Studio 5, Amapi 3D, Metasequioa, Blender, and Anim8or. Some of those programs are free, and I don't own any highend Apps like Lightwave, Mirai, Maya, or 3D Studio Max, but I gave up all my above formentioned Apps for just one up-n-comer which happens to be an opensource free program that is excellent with a great forum community to help you along the way: It's called "Wings3D". It's a Sub-D Polygon modeler with many exports including OBJ. It is very intuitive and easy to use. Many think it is as comparable to Mirai since it started out as a clone of Mirai's younger brother Nendo, but has far surpassed that program in many ways. You, and anyone else interested, should check it out: www.wings3d.com
Thread: Copyright question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hey all, this is directed to ockham's question: PCF is an encoding/decoding of modified geometry of copywrited OBJ models which you must own the origional OBJ model that was modified, and then decode the PCF which creates the new OBJ model. Search for Maz's Objection Mover. This is a free program he wrote for us just for this purpose.
Thread: Have a question | Forum: Poser Technical
Hey Myliana, I know this is a bit late, but just read the thread, and if you're still having problems I was wondering if you and your significant other's PC's are networked together, and operating the same copy (same Registration code) of Poser4.03 on both PC's. The reason I ask this is because if you installed on his first, and then on yours, and are networked, Poser4.03 has an internal check and kill-switch property that will crash any other PC's operating the same program on a network. If this does not apply to you, please disregard question, and I hope you find a solution (or did find one). Good luck, and Take care.
