I guess in the $10.00 to $15.00 range. I'm convinced it's worth more (I spent more than 2 months working on it) but any more than that and I won't sell any ! :)

I think the right price is upwards to $80.00, but trust my experience (I did a detailed model of a ship too) it won't sell here if it's more than $20.00. And then if you start by pricing it too high, when you realise you have to come down on the price, you'll get a load of angry custommers who paid the high price. Just my 2cents, hope it helps.
Thread: Technical question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You guys rock ! I ended up using Maclean and lesbentley's solution, it works perfectly.(and is extremely quick and simple !) Gryffnn, I think your solution should work fine, but before I could do it, I would have to re-group my object (I didn't save it grouped, idiot me), spawn the props, save it, re-import it at the right scale... I'm convinced it should work, but it would be too much work at this point for me. Thanks a bunch for the advice though, I might need to use this trick sometimes. Thank you too Charlie Tuna !

That does work, but the setting displayed for the scale remains 170%, it doesn't make this new size the default 100% scale size.

That would take a whole 5 minutes to make. Send me a pic of the way you'd like it, and I'll do my best.

That's all I have for sale here : ships. Viking ship or 18th century 3 master, you can get it from my store too. (http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?Who=faveral) The 3 master even has a version that's specifically designed for Bryce 5, using materials created in the DTE. You can see several renderings of it in my gallery : http://www.renderosity.com/gallery.ez?ByArtist=Yes&Artist=faveral Thanks you guys for forgetting my ship ! :) (dang Victory always gets mentionned first !... But I have to admit it's a great model too !)

max2obj is a plugin for 3DS Max, you would still need Max to use it. Max files do not typically contain vertex information, like other formats do (although they can) It usually contains the formula if you will, of how a model was made, and it more or less recreates that model using the saved "recipe" every time you load a max file. Hence the reason why a super smoothed model saved in 3DS format weighs 50 megs when the same model saved as max is a few kB. The max file just says "smooth 3 times". Same thing when you clone objects in Max, the Max file just says "Clone it, put it here and scale it this way", a 3DS file will write every single last vertex, normal etc... I really don't know of any soft that will convert .max to anything, other than 3DS Max itself.
