Sounds to me like a program corruption. Try reinstalling Poser over the top of you existing one. This should replace any corrupt files.

There is no one particular dia. Most of them will be required to make Victoria look like someone else. I think, in your case, it would be a good idea to add all injections for V3 and play with them to see their effect. once you have an understaing what each injection does you should be able to attempt a clone project.

Oh if it were only that easy. The truth of the matter is that, like the Angelina Jolie and my own T'Pol character, you have to morph your figure and then texture your figure using the standard methods. I have never seen anything produced in the face room that looks remotely like the character. Some people may disagree... i Say show me... prove me wrong.

When adding the Bikini click on the Icon that has two arrows, not one. Clicking on the "One Arrow" icon will assume you want to replce the current figure. Clicking on the "Two Arrow" icon will add a new figure to your scene. Keep going. Once you figure Poser 5 out you will be hooked forever.

This is what it says when you visit the Gallery upload page. Follow this and you'll be fine. Art Gallery Art images should be GIF or JPG format only. The full image should be between 100 x 100 and 4000 x 4000 pixels and be less than 512 KB in size. The thumbnail image (if supplied) should be between 50 x 50 and 200 x 200 pixels and be less than 15 kb in size.

The only program I know of that can convert textures is Daz's Univeral Texture Converter. As yet there is no Maya Doll plugin for this.

I had this problem a while back. I think I solved it like this : 1. Open the 3ds model in 3dstudio max. 2. Select each texture in turn (Material Window) and make the textures double sided. 3. save the 3ds model and re-import into poser. I'm not at my PC at the moment so I can't test that, but give it a try.

I lifted this directly from the Curiouslabs site Poser 4 FAQ. My computer freezes before it finishes rendering my animation. What do I do? This could be a video card driver issue. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your specific video card. You may also try reducing Hardware acceleration. Right-click the desktop > choose properties. The Display Properties control panel will open. Click Settings > Advanced > choose either Performance or the Troubleshoot tab. Adjust the Hardware acceleration slider to lower settings and test your Programs.

Poser 5 picks up its Runtime directory from within the original installed directory. Therefore you cannot have a runtime folder anywhere else, although if you were patient enough to edit all the paths to the texture files and geometries, you could move them to a seperate drive. Not advisable though.

If it is intended as a pose file and not a MAT pose file then no cleaning is required. Distribute it as it is.

In my opinion an upgrade to Poser 4 Pro Pack would be a waste of time as all the pro pack features are available in POser 5 and there are many more features too. As for stability, there have been a few problems with POser 5 but with these have been mostly taken care by service release 4. Whichever way you go, you're going to have fun. Enjoy it.
