Just read the parable of the master giving 3 servants talents to use in his absence. Message of story is not to waste what is given to you but to use it so it will be compounded. I think this also applies to friends and loved ones. Don't waste them while they are called ours. I don't think you wasted your friendship based on the message accompanying "Portriat..." Time and God will heal the heart.

@incarnadine I don't follow "tweak one of its settings" you mean randomness or gravity? Sizing does nothing. @ Quest I don't think it's a metaball issue at least it doesn't behave as a normal metaball would when it nears another, althought the missing chunks do seem to deminish the further the clones are spaced. I originaly gave up on it although the desired effect seemed feasible

Yeah, where did that shadow come from... put groove thangs on rails where they intersect (might be easier in post work)...I'd break one of the fence wires and let it sag showing age... this will be awesome with sky...wish I could model like this

hope this isn't a dbl post...suggest making tentacles fow unidirectional more... jelly fish move about by pulsing thier dome, hence tentacles follow water current flow... might try having some domes in contracted state and some in expanded ... 'course I tend toward realism... it's better than I could do

Wow!!! All you folks have given me a lot to mull over. I think the best I've learned here is to ask for WIP advice at this forum and post what I like, after all I'm the one getting the most pleasure of it (in its creation) and if only one person views then thats okay too. Now to work on my own textures....uhm....ok.....I don't have any modelling software sans Bryce.... bye now... got lots to learn tks everyone
