Life Requires Assembly and we all know how THAT goes!
Thread: New Poser Roosters, Chickens, and Chicks! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Thank you all for your compliments.. I have tried to post images IN a thread.. but have trouble with it.. (?) Huolong.. not sure what you mean..'unable to get the other freebies shown' - the chicken set is at my on line store, and yes, I do have freebies at two sites.. Lannie's site is down sometimes when the bandwidth (downloads) are too many, but the other site: planit3d.com works very fine all the time. Our store pages are always on line. Some of the pictures may be a bit large for a dial up speed, but will load.. Lyne Lyne's Creations

Thanks so much! Makes it all worth while! I was just reading Adam Benton's interview.. and he is so right.. do what you love to do and then it works, I think! :) It's kinda why, even with requests, I need to go where my "muse" leads me, so that I am happiest in the creation of my projects... I can be (and am!) influenced by requests... but still... ;) Lyne

Thread: Poser Peacock | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Noggin your peacock is spactacular!! WOW! I have not been that brave to deal with it's tail! :D I do plan on flying ducks and upgrading my birds, but I am so "birded out" from requested birds that I have promised myself to get back to mammals... not sure what yet...need a rest after set of Chickens I just completed! We have peacocks all around California, they would be a very beautiful addition to any outdoor area from a zoo to a farm and beyond! Nice job!! I look forward to yours being in the store! Lyne

Thread: HATE VUE | Forum: Vue
I love vue, and I have a smaller windows system than you do, but I NEVER "render to disk" after having read of many problems in doing this, and I do not stop a render and then try to resume. If Vue has RED numbers down in the lower right and I know the scene contents are getting "heavy" I do save often (I am able to save to the same file name, it creates a .bak file of the previous and saves it new for me) and I use only vue 4.01 patch... I have heard how glitchy XP HOME is, but that XP PRO is the fix for it... (costs a lot though).. I use win98se still. I remember some folks saying there is no finished picture when the render is done or hangs, but I think it ended up in one of vue's folders when that happened, so it was there anyway... I do hope you can figure out what is going on.. I don't think you would be so angry if you did not want to use Vue so much... It IS worth the effort to try to figure out things.. OH and having small partitions on a hard drive is bad stuff.. it limits the swap file of windows... I learned the hard way NOT to divide up my large hard drives.. For safe keeping I will make an archive folder, and burn the things I want to keep to CD as soon as there is enough. XP is not fun, the home version, anyway.. I go nuts trying to help my friend FIND things, find ways to control her settings.. all those nice friendly things are now hidden in xp home.. microsoft made a BAD mistake with this stupid version and had to fix it in pro... (or was that on purpose to force people to 'upgrade' to pro?? grrrrr!) Lyne

Thread: Poser Hair into Vue4 | Forum: Vue
I found out that in just a few cases, Vue will not turn the transparency on the trans map for hair up to 100%... It is this way with the Cleo and Gypsy hair.. just click to display material summery, then click on any and all hair parts for this hair.. go to edit.. click transparency tab, and then slide the slider to 100% ! Now the hair should look right! Lyne

Thread: MORE Poser horse Morphs! | Forum: Vue
That is one gorgeous photo!!! I do have a black horse map in my map set... and I am getting ready to use the Friesian morph in our free set to make a scary "horses of the night" image... ooo and can't wait to "eye candy" the mane and tail, and fetlocks like in this photo... fun! Lyne

Thread: Vue/Bryce | Forum: Vue
I can't say enough about Vue, after using Bryce since the very first PC version!! For me, it is the plants, trees.. all pop right in, each one (of the same type) different from the previous one!! Then there is the sky and natural lighting... to me, it is so REAL, while I still struggle to make Bryce skies and atmosphere look real. I know there are some GREAT Bryce artists out there, that have a special talent for controlling Bryce... but again, for me it is speed and ease of use. I do still use Bryce to test my models and I do the best renders (Bryce 4) I can, but I ENJOY using Vue so very much! I have not had bug trouble with it, but then when I found a patched version that works perfectly, I have stayed with that. I still have MUCH to learn in Vue to make even better images... but that is fun, not frustrating! The pz3 import works perfectly and THAT makes it worth everything for ease of use! :) Lyne Lyne's Creations
