Do a search in the message database for Poser 5 and P5 and you'll see a whole host of suggestions that CL is aware of (but who knows which ones they will implement). Also, CL has a submission email address (wishlist@curiouslabs.com) for suggestions.

Besides the fact that it might be fun distraction and entertaining has anyone come up with an application for all of this? How might this be useful in education, business, advertising, etc...?

A Couple of things... You don't have to spin the dials, you can actually input numbers manually. In the "Poser Free Stuff Area" (see top of page) try a search for rule, caliper, or meter. You will find tools that will help you size things Good luck

Scifiguy, Thanks for the info. One question I have is based on your statement that a good host will "Tell you what the usage limits actually are..." I'm considering a web sight from which I think people will want to access and download many pictures (no, not pornographic in any way, more like a catalog, but not a business). So when I'm shopping for a host how can I predict what I'll need? I'd hate to settle on 2GB transfer and then have to pay more becasue I was wrong. On the other hand I'd hate to purchase too much transfer bandwidth. My second question is how you can get a domain name without going through a hosting service? Doesn't discountdomainregistry ask where you want it to be hosted? And if you go to a host don't you have to tell them what your domain name is? I have heard so many horror stories about hosts "stealing" domains. I would like to get my domain so I'll know I own it and then pick my host.

This was something then Zygote, now DAZ, promised purchasers of the eagle a long time ago. It has never become available. If you check the message archives here you may find the person not associated with DAZ that has done some work in this area. However, I believe they even mentioned that their model is far from perfect. Also, send a note to DAZ to remind them of their promise. Good luck.

It's difficult to read tone in messages so I wont try. Perhaps the lack of response is because neither has been done yet (I've been here awhile and I'm pretty sure I'd remember if it was available). I'm guessing you're new so I'll let you know that the people around here are very generous with their help and even with free models if they've developed them and are so inclined. Beyond that, modelers will, from time to time, ask for requests for free model development and you might request it then. In addition, some of the more talented offer their wares up for sale and if you're willing to pay you might even commission work from them. I would then look forward to your donation of these items to Free Stuff. Hey Willow, welcome back. Hey CL, thanks for taking the time to correct the bugs before releasing the software. No really, you can have my serial number. That's what this community is here for. Why can't DAZ care about its customers? With the new file directory structure it's so easy to back up my work. Boy this version of Poser is so snappy. No more waiting!

Wow, P5 actually supports the right mouse button! I want to thank all the artists for clearly identifying in their readme what model they've contributed and the terms of use. You want which model (texture, prop)? Gee it's easy to find with this great folder/file structure. ERC and the two figure problem? Oh CL fixed that problem in their latest patch.

I think this is a great idea. I would hate for a message like this to get lost in the ether. Maybe you can convince the 'rosity folk to find a place for it or maybe even house this on the DAZ web site. I think it is very smart of DAZ to have the weekly freebie and perhaps a weekly (bi, semi?) would bring even more visitors to the site. Thanks again.
