The foreground stuff looks very sweet, and the sun is pretty good to. There's something about the mountains though... not sure what though (maybe they don't look far enough away from the foreground - not sure). But still, my first impression was "like wow" and my impression still is "like wow". Nice job.

When I render 2 scenes at the same time, only one scene (the top one) will render at near normal speed. The other one renders really slowly, but it does render (not stop). I got a p3 450 with 320RAM. I also seem to be able to swap between apps and not have a problem with it stopping.

I also export/import everything in .obj format and can't remember any probs. What versions of bryce and poser are you using? Also, try to just export/import a naked model (i.e. something really simple with nothing added) and see if that works. If it does, then maybe the prob is in something you've added to the character.
