Your elf really does express feeling. I guess emotion doesn't come through convincingly in my own work. When trying to show overwhelming mental pain or anguish, everything falls flat for me. Needy to study more faces. :)

I think one thing that is missing, at least in my renders, is true emotion seen in the character's faces. I agree with Routledge in that. I see lots of subtle hints of true emotion, but not anything that overwhelms you with a sense of feeling. Then again, maybe I'm not fiddling with those dials enough. :)

Lucy_Fur, I've had the same thoughts you do. But at the same time I also realize that my ideas are really the art. I am just using Poser and the models as a means to create that image. The props, figures, etc are just tools. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate everyone who makes those objects. They are not easy to make and can be time-consuming to construct. Bless the modelers. However, it is what you do with them, your ideas, and the message you are trying to communicate that make art. Anyway I am sure someone will add a point I hadn't thought of and blow my whole theory. :)

I think the textures look great. :) More realistic than alot of things I've seen. As for Penguinisto's question...Staale makes some textures for Posette that you can insert underarm hair. Not so sure about for Vicky though.

I believe you have a 17th or 18th century men's suit at PWFW. I don't know if it was for Mike or the P4 Dork, but if it's for the Dork I would love to see it in the Marketplace.

Out of curiousity, why use the grayscale mode for Photoshop as opposed to using Desaturate option under the Image/Adjust tab? I'm trying to understand how and why artists use certain tools or methods as opposed to other methods. :)

My husband somehow messed up my computer and changed the default font of Poser to another resident font. What he did - I have no idea, but this gives me hope/an idea that you can change the font.
