I dn't have this particualr outfit but stuff like this is a known prob with GIRL and Poser5. If there aren't any JCM or morphs dials in the top for you to tweak you should be able to fix that with a magnet in about 10mins. Select the specific part of the clothes where you have poke though and create a magnet. Orient the magnet by selecting it's base, position it so the base is roughly intersecting the problem area. Now go and select the mag zone, centre it on the area of pokethrough and scale it down to what seems a reasonable radius. Select the magnet and move it using the positon dials to stretch the top over the breast. You will have to fine tune the size of the mag zone and position of the magnet but it should work ok. When your finished just make all the mag componets invisible in the properties window.
Thread: Solution for Reversed Normals? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The normal refers to a line 'normal' (i.e. perpendicular) to the surface of the polygon. As you say, when this normal faces one direction the polygon will be visible and when it faces in the opposite direction the polygon will be transparent. When you import a mesh you have the option of ticking a box to make all the normals 'consistent' i.e. face the same direction. This should fix any problems quickly and easily (at least it does for me anyway :D). If it happens to make all the normals consistent in the wrong direction you should be able to fix this by ticking the 'reverse normals' box as well as the 'make normals consistent' box. Doing this I have never had a problem with reversed normals in poser.

I have never tried it personally but would imagine as long as you have a fast enough interface (USB2 or ideally Firewire2) it should work fine

Out of the two I would have to pick GIRL, it's all in her eyes which I think are just beautiful. If I had to pick my fav model though AnimeDoll wins everytime - there's no other model as cute as animedoll (but that wasn't the question so GIRL :D).

You can get the patches at the top of this page where it says 'patches' :D Leaving your lights until last is definately a good tip. Don't use texture shading in the pose room either, stick to smooth shading. For rendering the default 'Draft' setting is much quicker than 'Production'. For a quick render keep all the tick boxes on the left blank apart from the 'displacement' map one. It's pretty much common sense stuff really, the fewer otpions you apply the quicker it will render - if all else fails get more RAM :D When I upgraded from 512mb to 1Gb I noticed a dramatic improvement in performance in the pose room, render times seem pretty much CPU limited (unless you want to apply texture filtering in which case you will need more memory). Hope some of that helps.

I haven't run into anything unfixable yet, does take a bit of time tweaking the JCM dials manually or applying magnets though :( What really annoys me is having to manually move all the bump maps from gradient bump to bump node in the material room and then set the numbers up...grrrrrrrrrr I keep hearing about this catsuit update but there is nothing on the Daz product update page about it.

Good point - I have left it set to 1 :( You don't know what value it is set to when you apply a Poser 4 or PP MAT do you?

Bearing in mind I have only used the cloth room a few times I think we might be talking about two different types of frames: Animation Frames (AF) and Drape Frames (DF). DF's are used to fit the clothes to your figure whereas the AF would be used for a Poser animation. If you have AF set to 30 in the pose room (which I think is the default) and DF set to 20 in the cloth room then when you run the cloth simualtion it will run through the full number of DF for every AF incase the figures pose has changed - this way the motion of the cloth will be simulated as yur figure walks about. If your figures pose has not changed then after the first key frame then I don't think you will see any change in the position of the cloth. I live in the UK and it is almost midnight so I'm off to bed now - good luck :D
