There's no conspiracy in here. There's only a business plot that now it comes to the light for all of us and that has affect. I'm comfortable with the decision because a free V3 and M3 certainly give a boost to every item designed for them. But as it's have been said here support to the figures is the difference and my concern is that now there's going to be more difficult to support a figure which will cost 20-30 dlls (very little for a year or so of work) if the "standard" it's free. This is not another anti-DAZ thing, if they have all the market it's because of us in a vicious circle. I have seen many people complaining of them but also see the same people do stuff for Victoria or another DAZ figure. I don't understand them. BTW Fyrespyrit: I'm quite positive that this decision was taken in the early 2004, must have meetings, the account department of DAZ must have make many reports regarding the actual profits of both figures and must have measured the cost-benefit of the impact in that income. This is not a rash decision, give them some credit.
Thread: Now I understand Anton's attitude!...M3 Free! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Please don't mislead my intentions. I know very well the history of Anton, his contributions to the poser community and all. He has his motifs and the decisions are solely his own but I was looking forward for his figure and certainly didn't like that he was almost forced to put aside and the reasons and the why leave me a bad feeling around the issue. I'm sure not to be the only one. So when I see that M3 was turned in a free figure the why was certainly clear. He and Maximus project get between the gears of the DAZ machine. I'm worried about the future of third party figures. Maybe many of us certainly think that V3 and M3 could be better than they are now and less resource hungry, but they are very well crafted and are the "standard" in the poser community so if you get them for free you could wait for a long time before thinking of buying another figure. I like the Seraphira figure also but even many of us would buy it as soon she hits the MP how much sales could that really mean. You get my point?

Paul,
I think that you have a great package in the Posetools but it's so great and has so many options that nobody fully understands it.
Let me tell you that you have open my curiosity, but let me ask you how's that Ptools "doesn't change the original file"? Why would it change it in the first place?
Anyway, other thing that want to ask you is could Ptools would be comparable with Cr2edit 5 or 6(by zenware)?

BTW the cr2editor151 that it's in my homepage it's from John Stallings.

Andrew, Since you are a programmer then you wouldn't have any problem with PML (Poser markup language). I was at first a little bit lost and open the files with a little fear and respect, until I found that it was just like Postscript and all clear to me. Well, you can go to my homepage and download Cr2editor151. Put the .exe in anywhere you want. Once it is installed open your pose and you will see what I mean, all affected body actors will show up (hip, abdomen, chest, etc.) you just have to select and delete the body parts that you don't want, chest, head. Leave the ones you want to move and that's it! Easy but you have to see it for yourself to understand it, it's a good thing you start with a .pz2 file because the construction it's very simple and less frightening:) Hope this help Posermatic

Andrew, If you have the pose in which the legs are how you want already, then you could open it in a text editor or cr2edit and delete all the parts that you don't want to modify save it as a .pz2 and name it whatever you want in the pose library. When you load it in your figure it will only modify the legs and will keep the rest of the body intact. This is the same process to save a pose with my NBS.
Thread: Need help saving V3 custom morphs only | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In IPB you load your character (the figure you just saved in Poser) and the program do the rest transforming your dialed pose into a full INJ-REM file. However if you made custom morphs and want to convert to INJ files then go for Injection Magic.

Thread: Aiko3 MAN, can use M3 clothes! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Hi,
I just want to thank you all for the great comments and for the interest on A3M3.
I would like to inform you that he was not changed for here to there at a better price or something, I released him at both stores and the little difference you will find in price comes because of the way the stores are managed and the percentage that they gave us to us merchants. To avoid this most of my products will be released over there first if they are not exclusive to Rendo.
Regarding A3M3 he will be here again at the MP very soon.

MachineClaw, "Aiko3 LE was used or is needed as the base, but the new figure that gets unencoded uses M3 joints for clothing compatibility, but the Aiko3 head morphs work on Man because it's really based off Aiko3 LE?" Yes, all your conclusions are right, the .cr2 which uses the decoded .obj, its still Aiko 3 so all her morphs will still work on HIS face. As for the M3 wardrobe, you can conform on A3M3 as you would normally do on M3, no tweakening needed. I use the term "most of his clothes" because during testing we found that some clothes available for M3 doesn`t conform fine even on M3! Hope this help. Posermatic

Andrew, If you have UMT and has the M3 morphs you could expand A3M3 much more! and yes is somehow like the Aeon characters which use the same unimesh to do something else and keep all the UVs and morph compatibility. BTW A3M3 its still Aiko3 so she is in the Group 2, and as you have seen on the post of Walter, A3M3 is using the Bishonen morphs which are intended for M3. Have a nice Renderday, Posermatic

Hi mathman, Yes, he is based on Aiko3 LE but I have added channels to the .cr2 so he could take morph injection and if you use the Unimesh morph transfer utility most of the M3 morphs could be taken by A3M3, so the added channels are enough to make really interesting work with him. If you don't have them, well, he is still good looking! :) That's the great part of A3M3. Posermatic

Nice Waltsterdan! thanks for the post.
Its good to know that you enjoy working with him.
Yep, the Bishonen body morphs doesn't make much difference, but many, many people ask for them.
