Got one too. I had poser for about 1 month before my 9 year old son (on his first try in Poser) showed me that I could scroll down and/or maximize the dail box.
Thread: Let me ask once more , ok ( wacom tablet) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I bought a Intutios 3 right after it came out a couple of months ago. My choice was made after consulting different groups with pro graphic artists, (incl. ROS) I also contacted a pro graphic studio that sells all wacoms pens, showed up in there reception and they was very helpfull. That is the reason for my choice. Takes a little time to get use to, but already after the first try, I realised there is things I can do with the pen that I havn't been able to do before.

Thread: Making a prop. Where is the obj? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks a million for all your help. I was looking into doing as Evanara suggest, but I wasn't sure of what the storageOffset numbers refered to and how they was found, but I guess it's for overall use? I'll try that.
Thread: Making a prop. Where is the obj? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have no problems including the obj file, expecially if it makes the scene smaller. But how can it help people who are using the pp2 files now that the geometry is written to the file? Is there somewhere I can correct this so the pp2 for an example point to the obj in the geometry folder? It's for the free section here at ROS but anyway, I'll like to do it so it loads and are a smooth use.

Thread: Creating textures with some help. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks cherish1701, I downloaded and will try it out. What I forgot to menthion is, that I don't mind paying for the stuff, here at Renderosity or somewhere else. I have seen a lot of stuff for making textures but I'm confused by what it really can do. I have a lot of stuff added to my wishlist but some of it seems to do the same things but in different ways. So far I have added for about 70$ of skin making stuff to my wishlist but I hope that it wouldn't be nessecary to buy it all to get what I'm looking for or - even worse - find out that I don't get what I'm looking for.
Thread: Frustrated and Overwhelmed | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello duckee. I was almost new to Poser when I got Poser 5 in may, almost because I had Poser 3 for a short time way back then. Like you I felt it was fustrating that I couldn't just open it and do just something so I could see I did something. I started with reading manuals and tutorial, a big mistake, for me at least. I found out, that I have to do/learn one thing at the time and I started with posing. Then I went to conforming clothes and after that to dynamic. Then I found out, that I would like to do textures for the clothes, after that came the figuers. And so on, step by step. I would like to learn everything but I have to realise, something I'm just not to good at, so it's great with all the artist here at ROS. I still havn't learned everything about those thing I've mentioned above, but enough to know what I'm for the time being will spend my time on doing with Poser.
Thread: CR2's - standalone props or ...? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks to all the replyes and help. I was only interested in those props if they was obj's or could be converted/exported as obj's. I guess they are plain 2D's then. I know I can buy it all very cheap this month as Daz gives a free PC membership for the rest of them month. I already spend a LOT of $$ the last 4-5 days, but I'm not interested in cyclorama or Mil Enviroment.
But if someone could point me to somwhere with nice plant props I would really appriciate it. I bought a great chunk from RuntimeDNA alrady. *"them month"??? This month offcause LOL

Do a search for svdl in the free stuff section and you'll find not only stockings for V3 but also a lot of other dynamic clothes for her and her "sisters".

Thread: Re-building my Runtime: some questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have installed Poser 5 on my C drive and there is nothing at all in that runtime folder except from the stuff that the installation throws in there. I got everything installed on my D drive in different runtime folders. The first time I loaded Vic 3 Poser had a problem finding the files, but now, 1 month later I don't have any problems anymore.
Thread: Png's missing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Gawd .. I'm so stupid. I did correct the right number, the right line in the xml with the right name, but I didn't edit the one in the right folder. I got 2 runtime folder on my D drive and poser is installed on C. Now it works, thanks a million!
